"DIXIE" 
This solid wood dresser was built using the once popular plank style construction. In keeping with the older farmhouse style this piece was painted using a vintage white milk paint layered over a classic farmhouse red. The milk paint has chipped and crackled in some areas and doesn't cover perfectly giving a natural aged patina in the classic farmhouse look. The wood top was stripped and stained a rich espresso brown for a perfect blend of old and new. The original hardware was left as is including metal keyhole hardware on the larger drawers.
 
This dresser stands at 32" - counter height making it perfectly sized to be used as an accent table in a hallway or entryway, as a dresser for a nursery or spare bedroom or even as an addition to a larger walk in closet.

**Dresser is sealed using a highly durable urethane/acrylic topcoat in a "Matte" sheen and the dresser top was sealed using the same topcoat in a "Semi-Gloss" sheen - durable enough for use in high traffic areas.
