This queen size sleigh bed had good bones but was starting to show its age with some wear in the finish, scuffs and paint transfer from moving and the usual dings and dents. This piece was given a makeover starting with a unique, ocean inspired paint job. A beautiful, soft blend of blues and greens with a slight undertone of grey make this piece mature enough for a master or guest bedroom but still playful enough for a teen or young girl.
 
Silver gilding wax was used to apply a beautiful damask pattern to the lifted panels to create a gorgeous but subtle shimmer and add depth and detail to the piece.

**Bed frame has been sealed with 2 coats of highly durable urethane/acrylic topcoat in a "Flat" sheen. The damask design was hand stencilled using a silver gilding wax and adds additional protection to the finish
